"I chose this hotel because of the reasonable price and excellent location. It was worth it to me to valet the car and be able to walk or uber to certain appointments, restaurants, and shopping. The room was clean and quiet. The ac was good and had lots of options. The water pressure was fantastic and I loved taking a shower every morning. Staff was super helpful, taking my luggage to the room (I drove so I overpacked), getting the car and cleaning. Wi-Fi good as well."

"got double charged, once for my initial reservation on expedia and then at 4am by the hotel for another room charge. I communicated that to the front desk and they let me know that it is due to using a third party website and its an error that happened when completing billing on their end. This is not the first time it has happened to me and happens at different hotels so I am starting to think it is due to Expedia."

"Second time staying at this property. Very convenient location near to Cedars-Sinai where I had back surgery.Very helpful staff having wheelchair ready, extra pillows. Staff even offered microwave and fridge to room which I did not need. Enjoyed the pasta at restaurant and nice breakfast. Thank you."

Every day I asked for my car to be pulled from valet and when I got there had to ask again and long wait. Otherwise staff was friendly."

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The entire hotel had a strong odor that can best be described as a combination of a dive bar and marijuana. The smell of marijuana was constant throughout the property and was noticeable in common areas as well as near guest rooms. The noise was equally frustrating. "A friend and I just completed a 3 night, 4 day stay at the Palihotel Melrose. I loved the location as a lot of the places I set out to visit were in walking distance which was perfect to recharge in between events. Check in was easy and the concierge has an option to hold your bags before check in if needed.
