"We arrived late after a mechanical issue with our car. We called ahead to advise Ed that we would be late. He fully understood and when we did arrive was greeted with a smile. Breakfast was very good, room very comfortable. "

"Position of house was very good although there was no parking which is inconvenient. The furniture is old and very tatty The central heating didn't work terribly well. We enjoyed our stay, there is lots of space but feel the place need some decorating and some newer furnishings "

Breakfast was well stocked, variety of choices for everyone including our dietary requirements. Requests for extra bedding due to disability catered for. Room was clean and well furnished. "Working in area for business so thought I’d try something closer to the town due to evening plans. Welcomed on arrival (needed to phone number on door due to small team running the place) and showed to room (top floor…not ideal if you can’t handle stairs!). Room good size, plenty of home comforts and most importantly good bed and shower! Overall a solid experience and will be back I’m sure when in area. "
