Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. "Nice rooms despised old hotel, I can only say that be careful when you get in the bathtub for shower. It is very high and not easy to get in , rest is all good, friendly staff, nice location, nice rooms."

"Grounds are immaculate. Great view of the bush/river. Comfy bed. Good water pressure. Manager was fantastic. Good location (7 mins from New Plymouth by car). Quiet, safe. Can bike safely to New Plymouth ( sidewalk to round about on state highway 3 then side street with on road cycle path). Restaurant with yummy food on site. Things that could be better: Had only one BBQ so you need to reserve it in advance. Great stay and definitely a place I would go back. "
