徒歩4〜5分に大型ショッピングモールがあります便利です。ホテルの周囲は治安が悪いとは感じませんでした。ホテル入り口周辺にはコンビニはありません。私の部屋には冷蔵庫はありませんでした。セキュリティーボックスもありません。アメニティはシャンプーと石鹸だけ。ドライヤーもありません。部屋の入り口の鍵がグラグラでした。フロントの方の対応は良かったです全体的には良かったと思います。

except for the smelly corridor that gave me a headache we had a nice stay since the staff were friendly and accommodating special Tnx to the Miss who helped us get a transport to and from where my grandchild went to.

Good budget hotel in Quezon

ACL Suites is a budget hotel with clean rooms and good service but you get what you pay for. The room I stayed in had noisy A/C which didn't work most of the time, slow wifi costing 100 peso for 12 hours, a tiny window with no view and the usual rock hard mattress. The private bathroom was adequate and overall, with clean sheets and towels and free breakfast I would say the suite was good value for money. Location is not great if you want to be near shopping malls or tourist attractions, however it was easy to find and is close to main traffic and transport routes. The surrounding area is fairly poor with lots of small shops and businesses. Plenty of jeepneys and tricycles but few taxis. I used Uber a few times and didn't have any problems but it always pays to know where you are going in Manila as the drivers often rely too heavily on Google Maps and Wayz.

ACL Suites, Lies of everything they claim to be.

Me and my companion walked in through ACL Suites' doors with high expectations (you would too after seeing the photos and reading the ratings about the place). Once we were assisted to our rooms, we were very surprised with what they claim was a "deluxe" room. Me and companion works in the evening, so when we walked in the room we were horrified to see the room was too lighted for there no blinds. The toilet was dim and the air conditioning was really terrible. To be honest, staying in SOGO would be way better than staying in ACL Suites. No wonder their manager asked me and my companion if we have visited the place before. It's only saving grace is it's welcoming front desk clerk. If you're looking for relaxing, comfortable and convenient place to stay, then this place is not for you.

My experience

I only stayed overnight and checked in late at night. I also checked out very early in the morning. I was not able to use my breakfast coupon. Since it is located in a residential area, there is a lot of traffic around and one way streets. It would be difficult for a foreigner to navigate around this area. For Filipinos, it is OK and we understand. Armed with a black light, I am glad the room, bed, pillows, and sheets were clean. I liked that there is no carpet; the floor was clean. I also liked that there was an outer room (separate from the bedroom) with dining table and chairs and a sink. The bathroom need to be renovated and those old white towels need to go! I actually used my own towels. The hotel should invest in some good towels. On check-in, front desk was asking for a big deposit. I kind of understand why, but, I was not informed by Expedia when I did my reservation through them. So, I was not prepared. Having worked for a big international hotel, I know hotel operations. Had I stayed longer in this hotel, I probably would have more to say. Anyway, since cleanliness is the first on my list, overall, I would rate this hotel good.

Quick stop through

Location is in a part of town that will give a person a better picture of the actual Philippines. Great Philippino food at the restaurant. staff is attentive and friendly and helpful. When leaving and travelling please plan and order cab ahead of time or other transportation as there are not a lot of options locally. Will need to walk to a central hub like a mall and get one there.

The pillows are extremely thin and then they have the nerve to ask for 50 pesos for an extra pillow. Then they want to charge you 50 pesos for wifi. Then at breakfast they did not have what they offered on their breakfast list. The airconditioner was loud, bed hard, shower pitiful. book this hotel at your own risk. You have been warned.

Our stay at ACL on 13th ave. in Cubao

Acl was wonderful, they accommodated us in every way even before we arrived. They allowed my fiancé to check in early without me as i was arriving later that evening. Every small problem we had was instantly taken care of. The room all though not like an american room was excellent for the price. Not a single complaint here.

Convenient and cheap but they didn't have our booking details even though I had booked much earlier that day. They then wanted to charge me for wifi so I could show them on my laptop. Also for a westerner who wants a quiet breakfast go elsewhere cause they turn the television and radio on while your eating.
