"Room booked into online was twin doubles in the cottage. When checked in was told now in Redhead suite. Very large lounge area with 1 bed in and separate bedroom with other. New carpet but a few scuff marks on walls and a couple of tatty edges to windows but it’s not rated as 5 star. Decent buffet breakfast and staff were good. "

"The room was emaculate and the staff were excellent. Even in the smaller room I was in the bathroom and bath was full size. The only downside was the roo. Could do with a plug near the bed for phones instead of aolely being accroas the room."

"We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "

"Really dog friendly room, terrace onto the garden, dogs’ beds and bowls provided. And no negative comments from the poor cleaning staff when one of the dogs left muddy footprints on the bed."

"This was a group booking for nine people. There were no problems with any of the rooms, which were very clean and well maintained. We arrived early and were told there would be no problem parking in the free car park and storing bags in the store room until check-in time. My friend was also able to charge his electric car in the car park. Check-in itself was very easy. We added breakfast on after not including it in the booking originall. Breakfast was really good, with lots of choice, plenty...
