"Booked a year in advance for ocean view room. Got one on 3rd floor, was right beside air handling unit on 2nd floor. Noise was horrendous, had a low ocean view, but noise made sitting on deck impossible.
Bathroom sink drain clogged, would fill up quickly and drain 15 mins later.
AC would not go colder than 22.5 C. Would not of been as much of issue if could of opened patio doors for breeze, too loud.
All in all not a great experience"

"We thought when it says sofa bed that it was for two people and not just one. In the states sofa beds are for two people so we were squished in the beds were not very comfortable especially when Marriott are known for comfortable beds."

"This hotel was in a great location for us. So close to public transport, shops and Restaurants. We were greeted by a friendly cheery young lady at reception. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. We were kept well supplied with toiletries, but unfortunately milk was not replenished so only had the one coffee during our 3 night stay. Air con worked well.It was great to be able to wash and dry our clothes in the laundry at no extra cost."

"The property was immaculate, clean and fresh. Check in was a breeze and the staff were all very nice. Location was perfect, just across the road from the tram, beach and shops close by. There was milk in the fridge as well as coffee and tea, Body wash, shampoo & conditioner was in the bathroom as well. It was very quiet at night when we slept as well. We really enjoyed all the property had to offer and will definitely book here when we return."

"The room we got was not the one in the advertisement. The amenities were ere the same but room arrangement was not. I think the listing is over exaggerated and they need to put real photos in Expedia. The stairway carpets are dirty stained. The whole place would do with an update or just a good thorough clean. Initially the room had a strong foul odour. The staff was helpful and refund of deposit was fast."

"Nice new(ish) hotel. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a long time. Has so much potential but feel few main things that let it down
1) Lack of parking. Whilst can pay for parking spots are very limited. We were unable to get one and had to do laps around area to find parks. Its untimed on weekends but 4hrs weekdays.
2) Breakfast options were very limited. was a cabinet of savouries and cakes that didn't seem overly fresh. Given it's on outskirt of Southport (and parking...
