"Easy check in, lovely room with high ceilings. All amenities that we needed for an overnight stay. Clean and tidy but with a few aging marks (cabinets missing edging, curtains not fully hooked up the curtain rings making it hard to close curtains) Breakfast was lovely and plentiful to power us through the next day. Location was central for our needs. We parked at St Nicholas Car Park for pricing and ease (£12 for 24 hours)"

"This is a lovely hotel . Very nice room , comfortable and clean. Bathroom was excellent. The dinning area was very nice , food was excellent and the staff were so helpful. In the morning for breakfast the lady who served me even made sure my dog got his own sausage for breakfast . Lovely friendly feel about the place and perfect location to explore the town. Highly recommended."

"We were happy with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and proactive with information. The room was small but clean. Very convenient location for visit the castle. There is a McDonalds right outside the door with a nice play area for kids if you are traveling with children 10 and under. The only down side was the elevator was out of order when we were there."

"A bit off the beaten path but served it's purpose. First time booking premier inn on Expedia and had issues with a cancellation that Premier Inn was not wanting to correct. I have used Premier Inn a lot personally and for my business, but due to this frustration with their handling of a the cancellation request, I will be rethinking booking with them in the future."

"Lovely warm welcome on arrival and departure. Spotless room and guest house in a quiet location. Good choice at breakfast with friendly service. Parking permit appreciated and parking available on the road and even found a space directly outside. Thanks also for the room upgrade."

Room was great, hotel also had a complementary taxi sercice to and from events centre on site, which was very welcome as the weather wasn't the best. Breakfast was served quickly by attentive staff.
