"We had an goid stay at Macdonald Bear Hotel. The staff were excellent throughout, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our room was a good size and the location is fantastic, especially for exploring Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. Breakfast was ok, decent options but limited buffet. "Room was very clean and nice, we stayed in the 2 bedroom suite but there are no doors for the 2 different rooms, walls are soo thin that you can hear everything happening on the hallway outside the room and the constant slamming of the door that connects from the restaurant to the rooms was extremely loud, woke us up constantly in the early morning so bring ear plugs. Location is great."

"We enjoyed our stay overall, there’s a decent pub 2 mins away. Some basic items missing, garden furniture needs renovation, the upper stairs are precarious, use caution, one of our guests had a nasty fall. "
