My room was on the ground floor just behind reception. Although it had a window it was a stained glass one and overlooked the pool and cafe, so not very private. It was fine while it was cold though. If I was there when it is warmer I’d feel a bit hemmed in! The bed was firm, but comfortable. The pillows were a bit lumpy though. I had a duvet and a lovely thick blanket. The shower and toilet are in the room behind a wall. Fine for me solo, but possibly not ideal for a couple. The shower was good - powerful and plenty of hot water. There was a reasonable choice at Breakfast with tasty pastries. There was a coffee machine and fridge with bottles of water in the lobby. The staff were lovely. The hotel is well located in the Gueliz area with cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. 30 minutes to walk to the medina.

Recommended for a few days in Marrakech

Great location, clean, nice rooftop terrace, lots of cool seating areas, supermarket just around the corner. Unfortunately, noisy at all times with tiny bathrooms. Good value for money and comfortable for a few days.

Great location in the "new town" (Gueliz) of Marrakech with a shopping center and lots of nice restaurants (also local and cheap) around. Quick check-in, beautiful rooms with traditional decoration, quiet because on a small street in the backyard, friendly staff. Just the bathroom was not separated from the bedroom so you need to be very close and not afraid of sharing private noises. Otherwise there is also a bathroom outside in the lobby area.

The staff was wonderful. Moroccans are really good spirited people. The hotel was challenging. I starved the entire time. I didn't know the restaurant would be limited, or, I would have to be a hunter gatherer. The one dinner I got in 4 days was delicious. Tasted homemade. But they mostly served light food and breakfast. They made it clear a few times, breakfast wasn't included with my stay. I was prepared to pay for food if it wasn't. Once, was enough, and I still had to eat. There was no airport shuttle the reason I chose that hotel. I started to pay more but the hotels I chose didn't say airport shuttles. It was my first time to Marrakesh, so, didn't know the navigation. Guests should be aware they will ask you for tax money upon arrival. Why they didn't roll it into the total cost was beyond my understanding. Nothing was clearly outlined. Room service, eating outside food in your room or garbage cans for the outside food disposal after eating. Nor was whether you could order coffee or tea and have it delivered to your room. I will be going back to Marrakesh but getting a hotel with full amenities. The Riad itself was charming. I went to sample Moroccan food was looking forward to it. Sadly, that didn't happen.

Room wasn't as expected but was nice, no issues room got cleaned everyday, friendly staff, Receptionist spoke good English which helped. All round it was a pleasant stay. Pleny of cafés, Shopping, food places surrounding the hotel. I would recommend 😊 I will book again 👍

Convenient and clean

The people in the hotel make it a great stay. It's the area I have a problem with at night but nice for shopping in the day. At night it's a red light area, and could be dangerous too. But the people and the hotel is amazing.

Excellent standards at a reasonable cost.

Toulousain is a nice surprise, a clean and comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. The greatest privilege is convenient location in Marrakech's modern area of Gueliz, so close to the train and coach stations, with plenty of restaurants and cafés within easy reach. Marrakech's traditional attractions in the great place of Jemaa Lefnaa are a 5 mins taxi ride or a bit longer on a horse drawn carriage. It is a lovely walk too if you you love on foot sightseeing.

Best value there is in a great location

The value and quality are high here. My room was comfortable with beautiful Moroccan decor. The common areas were so great to do work in and the rooftop patio fantastic! I had a ground floor room and being on my own I still felt very safe. The staff are so friendly and helpful as I needed my boarding pass printed.The area is great to die restaurants and shopping as the mall is right there. I highly recommend this hotel as you get so much for what you pay for. I’ll be back for sure.

they gave our room away to another individual and when we arrived the receptionist told me that "I don't even have a room to sleep in tonight" as if he is not the worker at the front desk. Reminds me of that famous seinfeld episode about the car reservation, where he says "Anybody can TAKE the reservation, you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation." looking for an immediate refund for this place. it looked nice but how would we know,

Room 17. Stinky smell in the room. The Wi-Fi signal is very weak. Smartphone's own data also has weak signals. The floor doesn't drain well in the shower. The shower detergent is empty. Especially the stink in the room is the worst. But the staff was kind. I stayed only one day.

The hotel was terrible, no safety for children, the showers were blocked non draining, no towels. No room cleaning, no bins around, you go with children they want to play in pool, but certain staff have faces on when children are splashing in pool. Gotta keep shushing kids cause staff have faces when playing in court yard. No dressing table, flooring had broken tiles. Baby slipped cause constantly wet floor due to drains being blocked, bust a lip. No toilet roll have to keep asking at reception. We booked two family rooms only one was a family room. No specious in bathroom. Dust every where in cupboards an floor was dirty all the time. U become dirty there. Constant music at night near night club's. Ppl fighting at 5 6 in morning an no one bats a eye lid.
