"Clean spacious room better than expected"

"The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Fridge worked well, didn't use the air con. Bathroom could do with a lick of paint. Parking was fine, but very busy at nights. Staff seemed pretty disinterested. Good location with amenities nearby. Breakfast was good but limited selection."

"I was pleasantly surprised by what I found at this lodge. I arrived for business meetings in the middle of the World Cup and my normal hotel prices were through the roof. I selected Convention Center Inn and really liked the place easy to get to, easy to park, clean rooms and extremely pleasant and attentive staff. Sometimes ya get a surprise…..this was a big and good one."

"I was disappointed by the reception team during my recent stay. Despite arriving with heavy luggage, not a single staff member offered to help or even acknowledged the struggle. A hotel’s front desk sets the tone for the entire experience, and unfortunately this one felt indifferent to guests’ basic needs. I hope management addresses this, as a little attentiveness goes a long way in hospitality."

"This hotel was lovely. There was breakfast that was delicious and the rooms were very nice. It was clean and the pool area was very fun. We stayed here for a soccer tournament and it was the perfect set up for our team to hang out and have fun. The staff was fantastic about helping us get a sweater we left behind returned. It was a great stay."

"The room was clean and there was plenty of parking available. The location was very close to downtown San Jose and SJSU. Also, several fast food restaurants on the block and across the street. This was an afforable and convenient location to stay for the SJSU commencement."

"The room was bigger than usual, has the jacuzzi, carpets in the hallway and room are very clean. No odors of cigarettes in the whole facility. Bathroom was very clean and fairly new. The pressure from the shower could be better, the water from the sink could flow faster. Air conditioner was working very well and not loud, the best treat was the control was on the wall. A lot of choices for breakfast but typical quality from hotels that offer them, no gourmet food. I wished the parking was free...

"The staff were very helpful and polite. Valet parking was a breeze. The Lobby and the rest of the ground floor is beautiful. Our room was a bit frayed around the edges. Stains on upholstered furniture, carpet unraveling in spots. The bedding smelled musty and the bathroom had mold, rust on metal parts, and the towels did not smell great. Other friends who were staying as well pretty much felt the same way. A beautiful building that needs some serious attention given to the guest rooms."

"The room was quiet considering it’s on the 1st floor. The room had a bad lingering smell. I turned the fan on to continuous along w the AC and it helped rid of the smell slightly. I think the smell was coming from the carpet, similar to dirty feet. I just went and got Lysol spray and saturated the carpet. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was surprisingly good.
