"The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. "On street parking was extremely accessible and the caretakers did a fantastic job of making sure we had a spot right out front. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and other tractions in a less than 5-minute walk."

"We had the 2 bedroom suite downstairs. Very quiet and comfortable. Perfect for sleeping. Dark and cool. Very clean. Breakfast was nothing the brag about. Store bought danish/mini muffins/bagels/english muffin. Choice of eggs. Didnt see a meat or potato choice. Just eggs cooked your way or Western omlet. First day there was no bread for toasting. Coffee and juice. There was a keurig in the room, so no need to go upstairs until 9 am ehen breakfast is served. Beautiful countryside. I would stay...

"The breakfast menu was awesome. Amanda is an amazing cook ! I stayed at the Amberson House for 3 nights and was very happy about my experience there. The house its self is a beatiful old home and funished beautifully wth antiques . Everone was very welcoming and friendly. "

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."
