Town Houses in Province of Matera

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were so helpful with parking, restaurants and information about Matera. This enhanced our stay.

Lovely place to stay in Matera, conveniently located both for exploring the town and for transport in and out

We had a fantastic stay In The honeymoon room, it was warm, comfy, and the bath was amazing. Breakfast in bed before leaving was great. Parking is difficult in Matera but if lucky you can get a space right outside like we managed too. Antonio was great throughout our stay.

The entire experience was great. Great hospitality, superb cave bedroom, excellent breakfast selection, complimentary bottle of local wine, even a good restaurant right next door (unrelated to the hotel). No car parking at all but for €15 a valet service picks up the car, parks it away from the restricted zone and brings it back at 15 minutes' notice. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous hotel, restored thoughtfully in Matera tradition. Staff were very helpful and communication prior to our visit was great. Restaurants were recommended and booked for us and trips arranged.

You made our stay unforgettable, You made us feel special and appreciated. Thank you so much

Excellent location, wonderful historic room with vaulted ceiling. A stones throw from the Sassi. Staff were very helpful.

Sleep in a cave for a good nights rest

Great host, awesome view ,nice and clean rooms.

Very clean and quiet, comfortable bed, clear information given at checkin and Giorgia helped us to arrange a taxi when we left. The breakfast was very restrictive, a voucher for a coffee and a croissant at a nearby bar and they wouldn't even let my friend (who doesn't drink coffee) have a tea instead. A water dispenser so we don't have to keep using plastic bottles would be better.

Excellent location as near to everything you want to see. Communication with the owner was great and we highly recommend using the Transfer from Bari Airport they organise for you. The room is quiet with the windows closed and the aircon worked. It us a unique room to stay in. The La Lopa restaurant across the street is great for the Sampling menu and then go down to its Cinema in a cave afterwards. Make sure to book in advance. Places shut between 2.30 and 4.00pm due to the heat but then open...

We stayed for 2 nights in Matera, the accommodation is located right on the border with the old town making easy access to and from the main tourist attractions, restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. Highlight of our stay was Michael who was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind. This made the stay very pleasant and he was always anticipating our needs, being one step ahead. Would recommend!

Efficient and helpful staffing

Very friendly staff, especially at reception when I arrived. Lovely decor and close to restaurants. Great breakfast.
