"Very well located and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I had enjoyed the live music with a great band. But the mattress was terribly firm. Gave me back pains in the morning. We had buffet dinner on a Friday night and the food was sub standard. The smoked salmon did not look very fresh. The chendol was terrible and the fried chicken was over done. The next night we had rib eye and it was overdone even though we had asked for medium rare. The bathroom needs to be upgraded to a walk in bathroom. But it is still good value for the price."

"Lovely hotel, bedrooms all have great views over the grounds and the ocean and are spacious. Hotel grounds and pool area are superb and lovely to relax and unwind listening to the waves crashing on the beach. Hotel gym is excellent for a hotel gym, lots of equipment and space and the spa is also very good. All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is excellent catering for all tastes. Would definitely stay again."

"Good location but with limited parking spaces available. Very near to the Cecil street market. Room's hangers have to be changed, the plastic clip is not holding the hanger anymore! Tried the black coffee at lobby, it's complimentary but would be better to get local coffee from food market or nearby Altertaste cafe!"

"There is no airport shuttle at the hotel, breakfast at KLCC is bad. Shangri-la golden sand is a lots of children very noisy and musilum prayer very loud early 5 am and thru out the day."
