"This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally."

"Everyone at Casa Donceles was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very clean and larger than we expected. Not to mention it is a very short walk to some of the best historic sites in the city. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to CDMX. "

"When you go, ask for 2 keys. 1 powers the room. Leave 1 key in the hotel so the ac can stay on. Uber yourself around or ask the hotel to book you a taxi. They have a reliable network and a sfatey process that vets thier drivers. So you have a peace of mind who's driving you around."

"la habitación muy cómoda y amplia. cuenta con todo lo necesario ya sea en viaje de negocios o de placer. la ubicación me gustó mucho x la cercanía a todos los lugares y actividades que teníamos planeados. está muy cerca de la alameda central, de la ciudadela, del mercado de san Juan. me agradó mucho la disposición del personal. en general es muy cómodo. la relación calidad y precio es muy buena"

"Our maid, Mariam (small young woman) was exceptionally good! The front desk was helpful and professional. A pamphlet or conversation about ,the amenities would be very helpful. Workout area breakfast and or brunch, laundry etc. We spoke little Spanish and the staff generally spoke little English so that was a stumbling block. We definitely could have prepared ourselves better. There was quite a bit of protesting and camping out in the street in front of the hotel. To no fault of their own, but...

"Our stay at the Umbral was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. The amenities were top-tier, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was outstanding and very convenient. The only minor criticism would be the scent used in the main lobby. It was a pleasant fragrance, but a bit overpowering at times. That said, it certainly wasn’t enough to affect our overall experience or rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."
