"This is an absolutely stunning hotel. Extremely pristine as only opened last year. The communal rooms like the lobby, lounge and restaurant areas are beautiful. I was told by a member of staff that the hotel used to be a theatre before it was refurbished and that is reflected still in the gorgeous tiered central area of the hotel. Stunning bedrooms and very quiet. Superb location and only about a 10 minute walk to the cathedral. Staff were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Lovely buffet...

"Service was great. They were very response and addressed our concerns. But the property is more 3 stars than 4. We had two small beds together in one room. My wife’s bed was slipping from the end so 20-30 pct was unusable and mattress should be replaced. Bathroom also had duct tape on the ceiling and the shower is barely 2 feet wide. I couldn’t shower without hitting my hand somewhere. Location is great but I wouldn’t stay here again. Would look for an actual 4 star hotel."

"Staff were pleasant and very helpful. The lobby, rooms and common areas on the main floor were very clean and nice. The plunge pool on the upper terrace was a disappointment as it is worn and tried looking and there were no loungers poolside. We had stayed previously in hotels with plunge pools and terraces that we used regularly. Not this one. Other wise beautiful hotel in a great location."

"Room was quite dark with no view but a large bedroom comfortable beds . A chest of drawers would have been useful for storage , the bathroom was adequate but quite small only a shower no bath . We had to ask for a spare toilet roll The room would have been quiet but at night due to the World Cup being on we had very loud tv noise coming from another room until late . Surprised water was not provided daily in the room - only on the 1st day Hotel only served breakfast and no snacks available...

"The room was really big and clean. The property has great amenities and the terrace bar and restaurant has also great to get a mid day snack or to just relax with some beautiful views of the city. The location is unbeatable especially for night time Setas visitors, my only feedback would be since this property is not drivable to not directly ona road(for taxis to do you off), they should offer help with the luggage as dragging luggage in heat was a huge turn off otherwise an overall great...

"The room had a severe ant infestation spreading from the washroom to the bed, rendering the room uninhabitable, leading us to evacuate and seek alternative accommodation, after which the host refused a refund. The issue was reported on the first night, after which a cleaning attempt aggravated the infestation, resulting in ants covering the washroom walls making the washroom unusable for the first night. "Traditional stylishly decorated property full of old world charm- Very nicely situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas but close enough to everything to be totally walkable. Just around the corner from Las Setas which is fun to especially in the evenings, plenty of good restaurants nearby and a very good breakfast included. Would definitely stay again!"
