"Staff at Oulton Hall are the stand out feature. From check in to Oliver in the restaurant to the waiting staff at breakfast, all are well above expectations. Old school service where staff wait for you to pass rather than rushing to get where THEY need to be is actually quite refreshing these days. Can some things be improved, sure but this hotel has a lovely pool, great dinner and breakfast and just a lovely vibe. Check it out, for the most of us, it’s a wonderful experience. "

"I love this little gem of a pub and have been staying here for at least the past 15 years whenever I am in the area for regular work. Andy and Adele make a great team with delicious food, a good variety of beers, wines, cocktails etc and a lovely fire to keep us all cosy and warm, oh and the fish pie was really delicious! 😋"

"Lovely vibe, staff are great and friendly, happy to chat with guests. The gentleman who changed are room was very helpful as we requested to move to the other side of the hotel, away from the road (light sleepers) and they were happy to help. "Plenty of safe parking onsite. Didn't have breakfast, but had fish n chips for supper and it was really tasty. Room and pub was well maintained and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Reception is fully automated (no dedicated reception staff) but housekeeping and pub staff can provide some assistance. Ideal location for Chatsworth and the surrounding area."
