"Stayed here for a wedding as a family of four. Very nice room, a little bit on the expensive side but weighing up a taxi home 40 miles and breakfast it worked out about the same. Breakfast was very good. The drinks at the bar were a bit on the expensive side at £8 a pint but what can you do "

"Great hotel for a great price. Dog friendly but if you don't have dogs, don't worry, there is absolutely no sign dogs have ever been in the rooms, no lingering dog smells etc. I've stayed here twice and on the second stay was in a room facing the road. I'm a light sleeper but wasn't woken by the traffic at all. There's no Aircon in the rooms but you are provided with a fan so be aware if you run hot. "The hotel was perfect for our stay. It was easy to access and peaceful in some lovely grounds. The room was clean and very comfortable. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant as we were attending a funeral in the area. The breakfast was lovely ; there was a great select of juices, cereal, fresh croissants and a nice selection on the menu for a cooked breakfast as well. Would recommend and use again ."
