Liked the privacy of the location. Felt like you were in your own home. Had all the kitchen appliances we needed and the layout worked well for our stay. Easy walk to the local coop for essentials.

A truly great stay is about so much more than just the accommodation itself; it’s about how you’re made to feel, and this is where thoughtful hospitality really shines. From the outset, the communication has been warm, welcoming and considerate. We received a lovely message checking that we had settled in comfortably and that everything was meeting our expectations, with a genuine offer to help if we needed anything. We were also provided with a helpful guest guide full of useful property information, local recommendations and ideas for things to do, making it easy to get the most out of our stay. What impressed me just as much was being informed in advance about scheduled roof and gutter repairs. Rather than leaving guests wondering about any unexpected noise, the team took the time to explain the situation honestly and reassure us about what to expect. These little touches speak volumes. They demonstrate thoughtfulness, professionalism and a genuine appreciation for guests. Nobody can promise that everything will always go perfectly, but knowing that a team is approachable, proactive and considerate makes all the difference.
