"This hotel has a fabulous location regarding Lake Winnipesaukee. I stayed there in March of 2025 and 2026 and both times paid a "resort fee" which consisted of nothing. The hotel staff were very nice. My room was clean, but run down. The furniture was scratched, gauged, and set up on blocks of wood. I will say the linens were clean, the amenities were so-so. It was me my husband and our adult daughter and we needed an overnight accommodation so we could be near an event. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense.
