"The room was spotless, with a big bed and all amenities. Cleaning when requested was also excellent. The balcony was lovely, overlooking coconut trees, with space to dry clothes after a day at the beach. The real highlight of Choengmon Residence was the staff. They were friendly, thoughtful, and made the best pad thai on Koh Samui at the restaurant downstairs. The mango shakes and Thai tea were also delicious!"

"The room view was just as in the picture- gorgeous. We loved having a private pool. The included breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. It felt like maybe they don’t get a ton of families with kids, and there seemed to be a little confusion given our booking was for five people, including three kids (rather than four people), but it worked out. For Samui itself, we recommend using the Grab app to get around and order in food, as it’s not very walkable between...

The facilities are excellent, spa is fantastic and the location is brilliant. "We were disappointed overall, and do not feel this property lived up to the Ritz Carlton brand. It is a large property, well maintained, with spacious rooms, but we didn’t feel there was anything unique in the style of the buildings…..it didn’t feel like an authentic Thai experience. The lobby and restaurants are not air conditioned, and it was hot with lots of mosquitoes. The breakfast buffet was great, but our dinners were mediocre and we had to fight the bugs and could not enjoy our meals. ...
