"The room was comfy, especially the bed. Lighting in the room itself was plentiful but it could have used at least one bright light in the main room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well with good pressure and responsive temp. Both the shampoo and conditioner containers had shampoo in them though. Staff were friendly enough. The only other negative was that there was a fast food bag near the elevator for our entire stay that Housekeeping never disposed of…."

"Front desk staff was very courteous. I didn’t eat breakfast but it appeared to be fresh. The AC kept my room cool and comfortable to my liking. "

"The price on this hotel was very good but keep in mind the hotel was old and had a lot of wear and tear. The staff were awesome, very helpful and supportive. Rooms were clean, beds pretty comfortable & I have a bad back. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of variety like fruit, no juice of any kind but what they did have was good. I’m not sure why but they didn’t have any ice anywhere in the hotel."

"My wife and checked in about 3 pm Friday and unpackèd we left the room and came back about 11 pm . We went to bed about 11:15 and noticed the pillowcases did not smell clean it was almost a sweaty smell.Due to the latenesso th hour I didn't call anyone that complain until the next morning.When I got out of the shower appx 7am It smelled like our room had been smoked in or very close to our room.I reported it to the front desk about 8:30 am Saturday and and told them we would be back between 12 noon and 1pm we would like everything taken care of because we would have to get ready for a wedding that afternoon. The Hotel rep didn't see to concerned.even when I told him we were having to transfer our clothes back to our car to avoid getting a nicotine smell to them.It was so inconvenient and the room was sprayed with something like Lysol to mask the nicotine odor. It appeared to last about an hour and the odor was back again. No one ever checked on us to see if we we.satisfied with the room after we çompained.We checked out of our room about 745 am this morning I called the front desk to let them know we were checking out and were dissatisfied with everything that happened. Their were no apologies offered nor a reduction price for the room we stayed in. Holiday Inn Express nearly ruined our trip.We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express.several times and used Hotels.com severaltimes but we were so disappointed with both we will probably never use either.again."
