I had a wonderful stay at Osteria del Borgo. The property was exceptionally clean and perfectly located right in the center of town, making it easy to walk everywhere. Communication throughout was excellent—the staff were friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection and quality. A special thanks to the owner, who went above and beyond by helping with parking and being very flexible with check-in, which made the whole experience even smoother. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Excellent accommodations, food, and service! The family that runs this inn are extremely kind. The restaurant has a spectacular view and a great selection of wines. It was a wonderful experience.

Gorgeous area and we had the most excellent dinner in the restaurant. We lived Montepulciano!!! Our room was very dark m, unfortunately, as the window opened onto the stairwell. It would’ve been lovely to have a comfortable chair to retreat to other than just the bed to sit on.

The property was perfectly situated at the top of a small hilltop town and our room was lovely. Francesco and the staff were very friendly and excellent in all respects. Treated us like family. The included breakfast was terrific. We also took the advantage of joining a wine tasting at Osteria Del Borgo. Erica and Francesco tag teamed the presentation of 9 local wines. We had a great time and would go again.

This is an ok choice if you are looking for a basic room at a reasonable price. The location is great! The standard room had limited windows/light and looked out on an alley. NO one came to clean the room (stayed 2 nights). The rooms are part of the restaurant which was closed on monday, our second day there. No one around to ask questions or request towels, cleaning or other basic items. Breakfast was ok. There was no prior communication from the hotel prior to arrival, and it was very difficult to find since it is in a limited parking zone . Took us a long time walking in the evening to find the hotel and then go back to find our car. Prior instructions would have been so helpful. No one there for checkout. Bottom line, ok basic room but communicate with hotel prior to arrival and bring your own toilet paper!

Apartment was 2 floors, spacious and clean and the sunset view was spectacular. White linens, comfy bed. Above a busy restaurant which was lovely to eat at (the terrasse has the best view in Montelpulciano!) and the food was good. Francesco is a character and made dining enjoyable. It was a bit loud at night with windows open but very quiet if closed. This is not luxury but a solidly good, well excellent value for money accommodation. Breakfast in the taverna was decent and taverna itself pretty neat. Staff was excellent, and the not-great-English of some made the experience all the more authentic. Would recommend.

This property was amazing! At the very top overlooking the central plaza. The area it was in was so beautiful. The owners were extremely nice and helped us get to the parking lot which was aout a ten minute walk away. Every morning a very nice breakfast was waiting for us in the restaurant. The food at night was exquisite, and we always got the best seat in the house on a beautiful terrace overlooking the countryside. I would highly recommend this place abd hopefully make it back again someday.

Please serve breakfast on the terrace!

Clearer arrival details would have helped. I parked my car, had to move it then move it again following the owner to the official parking space and getting a lift back with him. Staff were lovely and helpful. The views from the terrace are amazing but we weren’t allowed to have just an evening drink there as they didn’t want to ‘set a precedent’ even with empty tables later in the evening. Breakfast could have been served here too, we were told it would be, instead we sat in the dark restaurant with a 1970’s breakfast offering- it wasn’t good. The room we stayed in was huge with great views and a comfy bed. This isn’t luxury living by any stretch but the staff were very nice.

Jacopo and his family were super friendly, the restaurant is the best in Montepulciano and the views are breathtaking. If we come back we will stay at Osteria del Borgo again without a doubt.

Old, dark, woodworms in beams, spacious room

The property is in a good location but it really needs some updating. The wooden beams in the ceiling had woodworm and at night you could hear it. We also found wood dust on the ground the next morning. The owners are nice and helpful with parking your car, but they don’t speak any English. No coffee maker in the room. The space is large but stuffy, dark and old. Bathroom needs cleaning and updating. Our room was in the front of the building and was noisy until midnight. Breakfast was good and had many choices, but the chairs were very uncomfortable. We were disappointed with his stay.

3 tourist nights in Montepulciano

Communication with owner excellent. Was able to drop bags at unit and then park car in space provided by hotel about a 10 minute walk down or up depending on direction. Apartment large and comfortable. Breakfast nice continental assortment. Owner helped with bags up 2 flights of stairs checking in. Excellent location. Every thing nearby. We would book again

Beautiful Tuscan Views, Great Location.

great location near entrance to city and main square. So big!! Beautiful views of the country side. Best Restaurant in town is right down stairs. Owners were very sweet. Parking is a challenge.

This is an excellent B&B in the heart of Montepuciano; perfect location and we stayed in the upper loft room with lots of space and the views are impressive! 5 star and I would recommend this property for a stay. Their restaurant located on the property is also excellent!

I have never seen a hotel or bed and breakfast staff as hospitable and kind as the staff at Osteria del Borgo. I would return in a heartbeat. The B&B itself was wonderful, but the staff made the experience unforgettable.

Great guys running the place. Comfortable bed. Perfect area. Music school next door provided piano and string instrument music through the windows. Amazing. Breakfast was nice, with type and volume of food huge! The apartment was mostly clean, with gorgeous windows and lots of space. Fairly dated furniture, which is fine for wood pieces, not so much for the sofas. Attention to detail lacking. A thorough clean and update, especially the sofas, curtains, accessories etc would do a lot for the place. We had a view out the front, which was ok. The views out the back are gorgeous.
