"Hotel in a great location, proactive and friendly staff. Room was functional although a little tired in places, but comfy bed, nice bathroom amenities and view from the room. Major issue is the lifts/elevators - had significant waits (up to 10 mins) for a lift to arrive, and check out morning many other customers weren’t able to get in when the lifts arrived at their floors as they were full. "

"We did not stay at the property. When we arrived, we were told that they had to cancel rooms because of some problems. This was strange because, we received a confirmation and a reminder of our upcoming stay on the day of arrival. But let's assume that there was a problem - we got no call, no notification, no warning. Just standing in the lobby with no reservation. I want to add that the room was already paid for. I pointed out that this was a sloppy way of doing business, got a nonchalant "oh sorry". We really did not want to waste time just running around trying to find an accommodation, but what options did we have? They claimed that we were already booked at their sister hotel, and they were waiting for us. Well, when we arrived at the second hotel - SURPRISE - no reservation. Did we book under another name. Here we go again. So while the front desk at the 2nd property was working to accommodate us, there was an exchange of emails and phone calls between them and the first location . I overhead my name and the employee at the second location saying she would replace that reservation with my name, and give us the room. Thankfully we had a room, but what a way to treat guests. Our initial reservation included breakfast, the new one did not, so basically we paid for something that we did not receive. Just lies, and a weak apology. Will never book at this place again. "

"This is a great hotel for downtown Brooklyn if you can get it for a good deal. Try to stay in the south tower as the rooms are much more modern. The one thing I’m really bummed is that they got rid of the swimming pool and just have the gym now."

"Staff was very courteous and amazing on check in and check out. The room was clean and tidy as you’d expect for a nice hotel in New York. Breakfast was a little wonky with a very overstuffed gal trying to do her best. We ordered two sandwiches and they were cold when we ate them but pre-made. She took her time but the line was 6 people deep behind us. I appreciated that she hung in there! Great staff overall and a nice place close to The Barclays."
