Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. The Daffodil Hotel
Lovely polite friendly staff. spotless spacious room with a pretty view & lovely little touches throughout the hotel. Free onsite parking, Spa was a real treat - open til 8pm which is fab after a day of exploring. Only negative was the coffee at breakfast was very weak but coffee machine was ...

Fell View
Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.

Luke's Hoose
Luke's Hoose felt really homely as soon as we opened the door. Great views from the elevated living room, looking over the town and hills beyond. So close to the main street so was easy to access all the shops, bars etc.
