"We booked this place for the convenience of the location near the airport. Check in is supposed to be at 4pm. We had to contact the property directly multiple times to get the access code to the property and this was not given to us until after 5pm. When we arrived at the property we were able to use the codes given to us to get into the building. We made the trek up the 4 flights of stairs (no elevator) to the room we were told was ours. "This was the perfect hotel for a week long stay in the heart of Lisbon. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and housekeeping did a really good job every day. The location is excellent if you want to be in Chaido, near all the sites but also for transit and train if you're doing some day trips to Sintra or Cascais. When we go back to Lisbon (and we will because it's awesome) I would stay here again. "

"My mom and I had a great stay at Hotel da Baixa during our trip to Lisbon. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, which made our travel days much less stressful, and they were also very helpful with our luggage.
One thing we really appreciated was how safe the hotel felt. The doors remain locked and there is staff available at the front desk 24 hours a day, which gave us peace of mind coming back...
