"This boutique hotel in the museum quarter was absolutely wonderful. Spacious double deluxe room, elevator, breakfast and lounge area with courtyard patio to relax, honesty system for drinks. Friendly helpful staff. Great neighbourhood, quiet and away from the tourists, yet very accessible to public transit, local restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend."

"We stayed in a Deluxe Room the Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium for 5 nights, and we were disappointed. They put us on a floor that was undergoing renovations (our hallway was covered in painting tape and had unfinished light fixtures), and our room had non-functional ventilation and sparse seemingly unfinished decoration. Our room also had no view (despite advertising a city view) and the bathroom was smaller than advertised. We raised all of this after one night, and mid-way through our stay...

"The apartments are in a covered pedestrian shopping district, repurposed from a warehouse with very high ceilings. It is two levels with the bedroom loft over the downstairs. It is very roomy and surprisingly quiet. It is steps from public transport and the Food Hallen and the Ten Kate Street Market. It’s also 20-30 minutes walking distance to the museums and Vondelpark. "There was a pair of dirty pants left in the room that had been missed by cleaners. It has some really narrow stairs and my daughter's were put in a room with a very narrow curved stairs which were dangerous and when I complained I was told there was no other rooms available and I also said we weren't offered any assistance with bags knowing they were in that room and was told I should have asked.
