"Met at the hotel to celebrate a friend’s ’significant’ birthday. From the moment we arrived at reception to the minute we checked out, the staff could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. The restaurant was very busy but our party was looked after with cheerful efficiency and the quality of both food and wine was of a high standard. Our room was comfortable, stylish and well-equipped and the whole experience offered excellent value for money."

"Great location and facilities."

"Top place and wonderful staff."

"Stayed here many times it’s good value nice place to stay with good food"

"Very welcoming and efficient staff at reception, self check in also available. We stayed in a family double room with 2 large, comfortable beds. Tea and coffee available, but no biscuits though, and 2 glasses in the room but no water which was a little strange. Good size desk for working on, if travelling on business, with plenty of sockets including USB points as well as more socket/USB by the bed, which is always handy. wifi had a very good signal and easy to connect to. Iron, ironing...

"Really lovely place, great food, beautiful for coeliacs, room was nice"

"Nice place and perfect location"

"Nice basic place to stay good food and a nice breakfast , there were having a wedding but no issue"

"Fantastic. Really need to keep that a secret!"

"Staff were just spot on. A warm welcome & so so helpful. Even when we had a teeny issue with our meal, they apologised, sorted & kept ensuring the rest of our meals / stay were as we would expect. Breakfast was one of the best I have experienced."

"Never really write reviews but maybe that goes some way to show how impressed I was. Staff feel as though they care about the place and in a world where customer service in hospitality is struggling it was so refreshing. Will definitely be back next time I have to stay in the area. Food was excellent for the price point."

"Nice place to stay over where you can enjoy a pint and a meal!!"

"Charming older hotel very close to the beach and the Boscombe centre precinct for restaurants and shops."

"The location, cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff."

"Clean room, but needs modernisation. Shower cubicle very small. Waited two hours for a replacement duvet to be brought to the room."

"Great service given an upgrade which was amazing. Will definitely stay again."
