"My family had a fantastic stay here. The place itself is wonderful, set in a beautiful traditional Balinese family complex, and the villa area is spacious, quiet and private. The kids loved the pool and really appreciated the supplied floaty toys. "This resort was a pleasant surprise. The staff was exceptional, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable. The room was amazing, food was great. There was a surprising menu of complimentary services of which we enjoyed the afternoon tea. They shuttle you to town center where you can walk the town or even to the monkey forest. If I return to Ubud, this is where I will stay!!"

"Beautiful hotel and location. The staff was great an attentive. Breakfast was included which is great but I personally didn’t love the food options. However the dinner menu was great and food was delicious loved the live music as well. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel grounds are great. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Also very convinient to monkey forest, temples, waterfalls and rice fields. Loved outstanding in UBud. "

"Loved, loved, loved. The staff is phenomenal. Everything is spotless. The grounds are small, but picturesque. They have a great restaurant attached to the hotel and across at another property. A money changer’s is next door, so is a nail salon, and a Circle K is a few steps down the street. The free shuttle into town is great, but Grabs are also incredibly cheap. "

Every detail—from the architecture to the decor—feels intentional, serene, and deeply connected to nature. The service is absolutely top-notch. The entire staff is a true joy to be around: warm, attentive, genuinely happy, and always willing to help. Each guest is assigned a personal butler, which elevates the experience even further. Our butler, Agung, was exceptional—thoughtful, proactive, and incredibly kind—making our stay effortless and memorable. This was my second time staying at Mandapa, and it certainly will not be my last. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my family and friends. You truly do not need to leave the property to have a perfect vacation.
