"Very loud very early in our room (126) three straight mornings. Lots of booming footsteps at 6:30-7:00 AM; I'm not sure if it was housekeeping or boisterous guests (each day we stayed there were busses parked in the parking lot, so this is obviously a popular choice for large groups of kids). The hotel itself is fine - nothing special."

"The check in process was smooth and easy. The front desk clerk escorted us to our room and gave a brief history of the building. I think we were upgraded as the room was spacious, comfortable and had a large garden tub. The bed is a bit high but no real issues. We did not use the pub but it looks really cool and we may stay here in the future."

"Home beautifully decorated. Convenient. Steps to and from parking on back alley. Description states 9 hot tubs. Saw only one in yard behind Welty house. Unfortunately located on major road at a light. Very loud when trying to sleep in front bedroom. Given 2 entry codes then told only one would work after we arrived. I don't think front door locked. Someone entered without code looking for the souvenir shop. There was NO champagne reception. Only one dispenser in shower labeled...

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"Typical older motel in need of renovation. I wanted an inexpensive place to stay overnight after touring the battlefield, and the location and price fit the bill. Easy walking distance to local restaurants and attractions, just don't expect much in the way of amenities."

"Vending machines do not work. Took our money. Someones old bra in the front of the build. Cars with open hoods , sketchy long term residents there. Needed some extra towels. Had to go down to the desk to get them. Guy asked my wife to bring down dirty. WTH."

"Great hotel! Perfect for our visit to Gettysburg. The pool and hot tub were great, and the breakfast was hot and delicious. The ladies attending the breakfast were very attentive and helpful. They even offered to carry a plate to our table because they could see our hands were full. Lovely place and even lovelier people."
