"Staff cheerful and welcoming."

"Old style motel on Durango’s main road with southwest decor. I slept in the little “cozy” room filled with a queen size bed which was perfect for my one night stay. Little fridge and electric kettle for tea or pour-over coffee in the room. The office staff was welcoming and helpful. Very clean. One bedside light was not working, but I didn’t care so I didn’t report it until I left. I’m sure they would have taken care of it if I had. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a simple,...

"Good location, good price, and friendly staff. They don't offer a breakfast, but that wasn't a big deal. The rooms have a coffee maker and a microwave."

"The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and the air conditioner worked well. However, the outside corridors were filthy and smelled horrible near the garbage. The interior wall between the 2 beds had something spilled on it, the floors were filthy in the corners. The bathroom had dirty walls. No hand towels or washcloths were provided. The floor lamp shade was partly crushed. The breakfast was as expected, but spilled food was on the floor and the tables were slow to be wiped...

"Very friendly and helpful staff. It was so nice to be able to park at the hotel early in the day so we could visit the town and ride the train even though we weren't checking in until later that evening. Restaurants and shops are very close, everything is walkable. Our room was very nice and breakfast was great. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"We stayed in a 2 queen bedroom in June 2026. The room was very old fashioned looking with old furniture. The mattresses were like cement. The room had bugs crawling around in the bathroom area and in the tub. We spent a lot of time killing bugs. The microwave was hiding inside a cupboard on a shelf about one inch above the ground. Really hard to use it when it's basically sitting on the floor. The refrigerator was also on the same level, and it was permanently set at a higher than normal temp (...

"As travelers with accessibility needs, this hotel is top on our list! Super clean, great bathroom space / shower / grab bars. Super nice, relaxed lobby and lounge. The staff asked if we needed additional help, but not in the “poor you in a wheelchair” kind of way. Also - just up the hill (walkable/wheelable) is Ska Brewery — excellent outdoor atmosphere, kids playing in safe natural areas while adults enjoyed a beer. Highly recommend!"
