"The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and courteous. Durango wasn't on our original vacation plan, but due to Mesa Verde NP being closed from Govt shutdown, we decided to drive the Million Dollar Hwy. The Fairfield Inn and Suites Durango ended up being a great stay, that was very close to downtown shopping, restaurants and museums. We would stay here again, and recommend to anyone staying in the four corners, Mesa Verde, southern CO area. "

"The room was simple, but spacious enough for the 4 of us. Definitely old school, but clean & had the most excellent location since we were there to ride the”Polar Express” and this place is 10 steps away from the train station! Walking distance to all the shops on Main Street too, so while we had a rental car, we still walked everywhere. It was great. "

"We were greeted by John who made us feel like he had been awaiting our arrival the whole day. John was happy, kind and had the warmest and friendliest smile I have seen all that day! After an 8 hour drive with kids, it was truly wonderful to feel so welcomed. Breakfast was great every morning and the two ladies who were working each morning were so kind and friendly too! Each morning staff member welcomed us down like they made breakfast just for me and my kids. I have never felt so welcomed in...

"I absolutely loved this place. If I'm ever in Durango again, I would only want to stay here. They have so many amazing little touches - boot tray, rags to clean your boots, rags for removing makeup, a great list of nearby restaurants, etc. Absolutely adored our room & our stay in every way."

"I stayed 1 night and only had one other person there. Kitchen area did need a little clean up, but there were many using it."

"This is the worst place we've ever stayed. The comments that was left on Expedia giving it a great place, is not true. If I was Expedia I would not recommend it. Dirty, nothing like the picture, no remodel in our room as stated. Kitchenette was a joke. Regular cups and glasses out with no protective covers. Should be using throw away cups. Were did they clean them bathroom. Floor tile was dirty, cracked and loose. Could not get heater to work. I could go on. Just find a better place."
