Historic Strater Hotel
Room smelled old and Dusty. I paid for a room with a queen and a single. I got a supposed upgrade to one room with a queen. Was not happy. The bed was concave. The water pressure in the shower was awful. I had to jump up and down just to get wet. The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms are not ...

Not quite as nice as other BW+s i have stayed at. Dated furniture and rugs

Holiday Inn Express Durango Downtown-Animas River by IHG
Great location and property. We opted for a non balcony room so we were on the street/highway facing side. There were trucks and a bit of traffic noise. We’ll select a river facing room next time.

Durango Lodge
I skipped the breakfast. The room was very clean. Best location in Durango. Next to a bagel shop and train starion, two blocks from great coffee shop. Easy walk to Las Animas river and park. Deer roam the town, so beware if you are driving. Price was very reasonable. Kudos!
