"We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. Although it is close to the center, it's in a less busy side street, making it quieter than other options. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful, with stunning views of the Acropolis! "It's quite out from the busy area but still closed to everything, like where to eat, a few minutes walk to Monastiriki Square where busses and shopping where all happening. Our room at the 5th floor had a decent size and a view of a mountain of Acropolis."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They provided us with a map and highlighted some areas of interest for us. Their buffet breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it on their beautiful patio each day. We were able to walk to many of the sites we wanted to see. If we needed a taxi, staff would call one for us. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Iliotropio Hotel. The location was great with lots of shops and restaurants around. We were able to walk to the Acropolis. "A small modern framed hotel in an old cool, building. Perfect location for centre of Athens, but in a quiet back street, also near three Metro stations, so easy to get from Airport. Friendly Staff and Super fresh breakfast on the roof terrace with views over to Acropolis, plus a very comfortable big bed and some small nice touches in the room. Don’t want to recommend as it might get too busy and we won’t be able to get in 😂"

The hotel is located near some lively restaurants which is quite handy but you can hear the music into the night if you are in a front room."
