"Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs. Bed seemed short and sheets were crinkly and starchy. Adequate...

"Great location. Room was clean. WiFi signal not good in my area of the hotel. I work remotely and had to use my hotspot as the WiFi was poor. Room was clean but sparse. No desk. No chair. Nowhere to put my luggage. New vinyl floor was improperly installed causing a suction noise whenever you waked on it. Wasn’t expecting much but got better value at same price from a few other hotels in area."

"The room was very clean but smelled like someone cooked fish in the microwave. The tub did not drain properly and unfortunately due to the weather the staff in the water park had to rush out and left the music on till 12:30 in the morning. Checking out was easy peasy and the screens on the balcony was amazing especially at peak bug season. all in all I would consider staying again but not at over $500/night"

"Breakfast was good however there is no where to eat so be prepared to carry it back to your room. Otherwise the rooms were updated and clean. TV small but good selection of channels. Bathroom and shower very good. Lots of clean towels. Will come back and recommend for anyone looking for a no fuss motel."

"It took about 20 minutes of waiting for a staff member to come check us in for our stay. We pressed the button on the phone and called the hotel and finally someone came to the desk. The hotel was understaffed for the night and the employee seemed overwhelmed. She was very nice and pleasant when checking us in. No problems with our room at all. Breakfast was also fine. When we went to check out we had to press the call button again because the employee was not at the front desk."

"Pro’s, close to freeway, food, stores, Cedar Point Cons-beds were very uncomfortable, no fridge in room, toilet was low to ground. Easy pass next time"

"Lots of activities for the kids to do - pool, splash area, shuffleboard, tennis courts, basketball, fishing, etc. The staff was also very helpful. My only complaint were the beds weren’t very comfortable. But we would still stay there again!"

"We needed a room for the night due to storms in area and we were on bike visiting for bike week so we took what was convenient. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and clean, could have used another pillow but I was able to get an extra towel and a rag to wipe the seats off. Staff was very nice!"
