"Hotel itself is beautiful. Pool and amenities as advertised. Staff are well trained, professional, and very friendly. The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. And Bring your own mattress because the beds are exceptionally uncomfortable. Location would be the main reason to stay "

"Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Walking distance from all the sights, sounds and cuisine that Lyon has to offer. Concierge services went above and beyond (shout out to Julliette and all). I seldom order room service on vacations but I am so glad I took advantage this time. The breakfast was both delicious and very generous. Also ordered dinner one evening and was thrilled with the food and the quick service. Highly recommended indulgence!"

"This hotel was an excellent location for a short visit to Lyon. Short walk to restaurants and shops, and to the funicular to Basilique Notre Dame. Also, right on the Saone River. The hotel room was comfortable, although carpet was stained and looking tired. Carpet in hallways were also stained and tired. Furniture also had stains and was in need of deep clean or replacement. "We had a lovely stay at Charité! The hotel is basic but comfortable. Good mattress, powerful shower, effective air con and quiet rooms. Reception were super friendly (we spoke with 4 different individuals across our stay, all great) and the coffee was appreciated! The hotel was an excellent location for us and we walked most places.
