"Excellent location, conveniently located near the Nishiki market as well as many restaurants and transit lines. The rooms had a nice modern design and were very clean. Bed was quite comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, sharing great advice on getting around, helping with reservations, etc. Would definitely recommend staying here!"

"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"We had a wonderful stay, so much so we cancelled our last night in Tokyo to stay in Kyoto an extra day. Perfect Japanese style with a modern twist. The location is impeccable and the staff are so lovely. My daughter got sick from some food at Disney Sea days prior and they were so nice when she “got sick” in the front entrance. The bed was so nice it was like sleeping at home …And the bathroom I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS. Cannot wait to return sans sick kids 😂. Thanks so much!"

"Loved my stay here - the staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room was large, modern, and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The attached coffee shop to the building is a perfect way to start your day or to wind down, it was a life saver to have something so tasty and reliable right downstairs. The location of the hotel is close by touristy areas but tucked enough away where you’re not feeling overwhelmed. It’s easy to walk anywhere and to get to main public transit....
