"Our stay has been pleasant. The staffs' English proficiency is quite well, at least we are able to communicate well. The environment is very good, quiet and clean. It's located in an area nearing a lot of famous restaurants and shops. The room is also quite big for such a price. I would love to stay here again if I visit Kyoto next time."

"The check-in took a very long time which I am still puzzled why! The picture of the hotel is very misleading. In expedia site, it gave the impression of beautiful green hills. In fact it’s location in city surrounded by buildings. Therefore, it’s kind of disappointing when I walked in the hotel because it’s not what I have expected. "This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest.
