"Pros: The overall atmosphere inside this hotel was pretty calm. There was not a busy lobby or casino area. It was pretty quiet and there were plenty of opportunities to hop on a machine or table with no wait. Although it is not located on the Vegas strip, it was only a 5-10 minute drive to most attractions on the strip. Not far from the airport as well. "Not what pictures show… it’s a motel. There were several large ants in the room, not a crazy infestation but not real clean. Floors not real clean but we didn’t spend much time there other than sleeping. Multiple pools to sit by though. Not much to the gym/exercise room. Nothing else included, no continental/free breakfast. Would probably opt for another place next time that’s slightly more expensive rather than just saving a little and staying here again."

"Staff were friendly enough and check in was fast. the property and room were both clean. Can't knock the no parking fee. and the room locations make getting to your room, a normal experience (versus a maze navigation)."

"The staff were amazing, super helpful and kind. They even gave us idea on what to visit for our trip. The hotel was okay. For the price we paid it was definitely worth it. Room was decently clean, no bugs. However, pictures are a little deceiving… it doesn’t look as nice as the pictures make it seem but like I said for the price we paid, we couldn’t expect much. Only book if you are on a budget."

"The overwhelming smell of an overdose of air freshener in the dark and dimly lit lobby was our very first impression of The Platinum Hotel. The dingy and outdated accommodations came second. During a somewhat lengthy check in process the front desk had two back to back maintenance calls which leads me to believe this hotel needs some TLC! "Good location off the strip near. You can see the Sphere from some of the rooms. Breakfast was well laid out nicely and had good options for everyone. Only true negative: the walls are a little thin. Otherwise great for families and the parking garage kept the sun off the car."

"Love the property. I was a little confused at first thinking it was MGM grand but it was in the 3 tower. Still very easy to find. I actually loved the Signature MGM better because it offers lest crowds, valet parking is free, and you can still access all other MGM through inside the building. Definitely recommend! Oh and the pools are great."
