"This hotel lived up to its description. Spacious room, comfortable bunk beds that even teenagers enjoyed, a washing machine in the room was an added bonus. The daily free breakfast in the lounge was just right for gaining energy for the day. The lounge was open until midnight so we could enjoy the drinks and coffee as a family after a long day sighting. All the staff were super helpful and were able to guide us with recommendations. Worth it when traveling with a family of 8 or solo."

"Truly amazing hotel with great staff, stunning rooftop patio, excellent food and drink and really an enjoyable stay. Extra thanks to those working the front desk and bar as they made the lobby and rooftop feel like an oasis. We ate and drank at the hotel numerous times. It's located in a really nice area close to major sites and easy access to transit. Choose here! If we come back the only thing id do is get a river view room. They were also great with kids and allergies."

"The Abita is a boutique type hotel in a central but relatively quiet location in Kyoto. The room amenities and fittings were top rated with nice artwork touches. The staff and systems showed good management and effort to assist the guests stay. The location was good, easy walk to local subway station and further walk/subway ride to restaurants/nightlife and daytime sightseeing activity. Highly recommended for above average hotel stay in Kyoto. "

"Kyokoi Chikurintei is a beautiful property in a quiet neighbourhood. Its a lovely stroll to shopping, temples and shrines, and a quick walk to a bus line. The home itself is really unique - that glass floor is amazing! The soaking tub, small courtyard, tatami room, and comfy bedroom are highlights. The hosts reply to messages quickly, checking in is super easy. I highly recommend this property, we just loved it."

Good restaurants right outside the door with vegetarian options, 7-11 across the street, McDonalds and transportation a block away. Would definitely stay here again. "
