"The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and the food we ordered was very good. The bonus of the stay is that they have lots of shops that you can buy souvenirs and snacks. I needed a small suitcase and went to one of the shops and yes they had what I need. I will definitely stay here again when in Aswan. I want to say thanks to all the team that made our stay great."

Special thank you to Miss Reham, guest relations manager, Felo from the Admin team, Mohamed from the night reception team and the wonderful Mr Waleed from the restaurant. I loved my stay so much that I extended for an additional three days."

"The place is on Elephantine island, you can only get there by ferry. The cost is minimal around $ .70 for a one way. The island is way quieter than the mainland. Make sure you are expected upon arrival, signage is limited."

"While I enjoyed the cruise, I should note that 1. All numbers listed for the boat were disconnected and my messages through expedia were never answered. Expedia staff were also unable to reach anyone associated with the cruise. As the result, it was very difficult for me to find out the location of departure dock for the cruise. I eventually got the information from my guide from the previous cruise. Movenpick hotel in Aswan is not associated with the cruise in any way and was not able to provide assistance. This issue may be related to booking through Expedia, but their prices are drastically lower than those quoted by other travel agencies. The boat is quite old. It is very well kept, however. The staff was very helpful. Sightseeing and meals were well organized and ran smoothly. The pool was cold, but the hot tub was enjoyable. Due to recent events, there were few fellow travelers on the boat. I hope they survive this downturn. "

"Beautiful location with easy access to the ferry terminal. We were met by Gamal and brought across to the island on his boat. From the moment we met him Gamal went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. We learnt much from him about the Nubian culture and people and we have great respect for him. We would lovee to return again. The next day we hired Gamals Felucca and spent a wonderful day and night sailing the Nile. Breakfast was delicious and there are great restaurants for the evening just next door to Ana-Ka too."
