The service from Ryota and the entire team was exceptional and truly made our stay special. The location is ideal. Peaceful and quiet, yet with easy access to the bus. "This is a great hotel and we loved staying here. This hotel is unfortunately in an area that attracts the tourists that create a lot of the current tourism struggles in Japan. They come for the high end brand shops in the area, do not care for Japanese culture and will not try to fit in."

Special shout-out to the amazing staff and the room breakfast, very nicely presented, proportioned and absolutely delicious. The bathtub is so deep and the shower is great. The bed is like a cloud. Very good location, within walking distance of many points of interest in Kyoto, and easy transport links. Thank you so much for making our stay a highlight of our trip to Kyoto"
