"I would never consider staying here again. For the price charged, the experience was completely unacceptable. The room felt grimy and poorly maintained from the moment we walked in. The bathroom was a genuine safety hazard—the toilets and floor were incredibly slippery. To make matters worse, the onsen was unhygienic and visibly full of hair. It’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority for the management here. To top it off, we were hit with a 400 yen accommodation tax at checkout. While I realize this is a Kyoto city requirement, paying extra fees for a hotel that can’t even keep its facilities sanitary felt like a total rip-off. Save your money and find a cleaner, safer place to stay in Kyoto. This was a massive letdown."

It was all around wonderful, the staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were big, clean, and extremely nice, they would do room service every day, and on top of all that the hotel was so affordable.
