"The listing on Expedia does not mention you cannot use the amenities if you have tattoos. The amenities are the reason I booked this hotel over their competitors. I would have saved some money and booked elsewhere if I had known this. "

"Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in kyoto. Quiet, fresh and clean, very comfortable, super convenient (across from bus and train station) and lovely surroundings (didn’t feel like a concrete jungle). Starbucks and convenience store right beside us. Of all the places we visited in Kyoto during our tours we continually agreed that this hotel made for the best home base. Breakfast buffet was wonderful! "

"Room was spacious enough for two. Staff were very helpful. Train station is a 6 minute walk away. Air conditioning was a bit hot but we just opened a window instead. The buffet wasn’t worth it in my opinion but there’s a Family Mart, restaurants and various bakeries nearby. "
