"I stayed 4 nights at this beautiful gem just outside of Ubud City Center. The accommodations are lovely and it is very quiet as the villa is backed by rice fields. The staff is exceptional! Breakfast included was cooked to order and served at your room. There are several very good eateries within walking distance. It's about 45 minutes to walk into the city center if you want to visit the palace and art market. The villa staff arranged a very nice tour for me to several UNESCO sites. I...

"Uma Galih Ubud Villa is wonderful. The property itself seems so private, with a personal entrance gate, walled-in villa (with amazing high ceilings that become musical during evening showers rain on the roof), and a lovely swimming pool. Owner/Manager Mr WIsnu and his team are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Reasonably priced breakfasts (ordered a day in advance), both western or Balinese, were delicious. I especially appreciated the availability of ride services throughout the island...

" Une chambre avec une vue incroyable, dans un bel écrin de verdure (Lotus 2). Une grande piscine, dans un milieu naturel bien entretenue. Un personnel au petit soin, d'une extrême gentillesse, et les dirigeants présents et attentifs. Vous tenez un lieu magny, proche du centre (15 minutes à pieds). Un salon de massages à quelques mètres (Velora wellness spa massage), avec une équipe excellente. Et moulte très bons restaurants traditionnels, dont le délicieux "Warung pulau kelapa" en sortant...

Le site est caché loin du bruit de la rue, près d'une rizière (qu'on ne voit plus une fois rentrés), que l'on longe sur un chemin de pierre en passant devant un petit temple. En bref, une excellebte parenthèse pour se reposer en toute intimité. Les villas sont confortables. L'accès au centre d'Ubud se fait par une navette mais attention; le trafic est dense.... "Beautiful hotel in the “old” Bali style that has been wonderfully designed and set in an oasis of lush green calm. Room was very spacious, comfortable and spotless. Bed was large with sumptuous linen & pillows. Above all, the staff are delightful, always smiling and extremely attentive in a very gentle way."

"There is no access by car to the villa, you get dropped off at a nearby carpark and the staff will come and collect you by scooter/bike. They will take you on one bike and your luggage on another. The villa is well worth this inconvenience. Any time we wanted to go out of the villa, we just needed to ask and they would drop us to the main part of Ubud. The staff are so lovely and attentive. The villa was beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious. I don’t usually leave reviews for Hotels.com...
