"Uma Galih Ubud Villa is wonderful. The property itself seems so private, with a personal entrance gate, walled-in villa (with amazing high ceilings that become musical during evening showers rain on the roof), and a lovely swimming pool. Owner/Manager Mr WIsnu and his team are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Reasonably priced breakfasts (ordered a day in advance), both western or Balinese, were delicious. I especially appreciated the availability of ride services throughout the island...

" Une chambre avec une vue incroyable, dans un bel écrin de verdure (Lotus 2). Une grande piscine, dans un milieu naturel bien entretenue. Un personnel au petit soin, d'une extrême gentillesse, et les dirigeants présents et attentifs. Vous tenez un lieu magny, proche du centre (15 minutes à pieds). Un salon de massages à quelques mètres (Velora wellness spa massage), avec une équipe excellente. Et moulte très bons restaurants traditionnels, dont le délicieux "Warung pulau kelapa" en sortant...

Le site est caché loin du bruit de la rue, près d'une rizière (qu'on ne voit plus une fois rentrés), que l'on longe sur un chemin de pierre en passant devant un petit temple. En bref, une excellebte parenthèse pour se reposer en toute intimité. Les villas sont confortables. L'accès au centre d'Ubud se fait par une navette mais attention; le trafic est dense.... On peut parfois passer 40 mn pour faire 4 km. Mais c'est aussi le...

"Set in a lovely location, a short free shuttle ride from the centre, Mathis is a tranquil and relaxing place to stay. The staff are lovely, the rooms excellent, and the view amazing. The only negative is that they charge slightly more for tours/ taxis than you would pay if you shop around. "

"A true luxurious way to experience beautiful ubud scenery.... it is trully an out of this world kind of resort. The resort caters family and couple guests. They have an outstanding thoughtful eco friendly Mandapa Camp which is a kids club. There is no electronic gadgets or even air conditioner within the club.... but they have a cow, chickens, ducks, and rabbits! For real!!! Amazing amazing resort! Will definitely come back for longer stay"

"Fantastisk hotel. Midt i rismarkerne, men stadig tæt på ubud centrum (15 min gang). Sengen var lidt hård og man bliver vækket af haner omkring kl. 6. Det betyder dog også man er midt i naturen hvilket har sin charme. Dejligt poolområde"
