"Enjoyed the prime location and rice fields. It’s nearby market area as well as ubud palace! The bike rides were amazing and staff was friendly. Some feedback on room hygiene since we were staying with our toddler that we expected the towels to be exchanged by new ones if we keep them on floor indicating they needed to be replaced, but it wasn’t done till we informed about it to the staff. Secondly, the bed and amenities were of low quality. The bed used to shake a lot while sleeping, impacting...

"I had an amazing stay at the Ubud Bali Villa Hotel. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. The staff were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met—always welcoming and attentive. The service truly stood out, especially how they kindly handled our luggage both upon arrival and when returning to the hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, with great quality and presentation. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ubud."

"Set in a lovely location, a short free shuttle ride from the centre, Mathis is a tranquil and relaxing place to stay. The staff are lovely, the rooms excellent, and the view amazing. The only negative is that they charge slightly more for tours/ taxis than you would pay if you shop around. "

"A magnificent piece of true Bali. One complaint only, the bath amenities are poor. My wife has long hair. Shampoo was fair but conditioner was very very poor quality. Staff was kind and amazing, food was excellent, pool is beautiful, spa is fantastic and the massage therapy out of this world. When we come back to Bali, we will return here!"

"I came to here by myself to stay five nights. The view of the forest is amazing from the room. The coffee machine, 6-7 tea choices with a teapot, fruits, sodas etc were complimentery in the room. Breakfast and meals are also amazing at the restaurant with a live music in the evenning. I used the gym which has a really nice view. Also had a deep tissue massage at the spa which was amazing. I usually dont write reviews but this hotel deserves a good review. I really eant to thank to...
