"Really liked the relaxed atmosphere right on the beach. Staff were Fijian friendly with wide smiles - Bula every time ! Need a better bar tab system when in a group and a better swimming pool but other than that an affordable and central location. Will be back."

"Only good for overnight stays as opposite the airport. But more expensive than other hotels past the airport. Good pool but lacking seating. Gets taken quite fast. Restaurant service was painfully slow. Got my food after an hour wait. Not very energy efficient as all rooms have aircon going with the louvers windows open next to the front door. What a waste of energy. Room was ok with good amenities. Would I stay again yes but only overnight. My other hotel on the main road was far better and...

However, our stay was let down by poor communication and lack of attention to detail.Other guests did not respect the 10 PM quiet hours and spent nights partying until midnight. Housekeeping was also inconsistent; one day they removed a towel leaving us short for a couple, they forgot to replenish our toiletries, and every time they made the bed, the cushions and bed covers looked messy and out of place.Most frustratingly, this...

"The staff was always friendly and engaging but the service wise at the bars and restaurants was slow. It takes ages before they will reach out and offer a drink or food menu. The hotel doesnt provide any tours and doesn’t collaborate with the travel agencies to offer such services. They dont have any entertainment either, it feels like you stay in the retirement community. 🙃 It is centrally located within the walking distance to the major institutions and downtown area."

"The Tanoa was a complete hidden gem. We booked this stay for a single night before we fly home from Fiji and we regretted not booking with them a few days longer. The bar was a very lively spot at night and had amazing cocktails made by the Great Filamoni!!! He was so fun and witty and kept great company.
