"Property was clean and minimalistic. Walkable distance from several metro stations. Restaurants and cafe across the street and around the corner. 10-15min taxi from Namba station where you can train to airport KIX. Rooms were large enough for 2+2, with a separate toilet and a dining table to seat all 4 comfortably. My level had 4 rooms, and a single lift for all 12 floors. Wasn’t high traffic. Water refill at ground level. Will try another Minaru branch next time if I go back to Japan. "

"Staff: very helpful and friendly Rooms: Huge!! we had the family room, the rooms was more than enough and very comfortable. we had kitchen, dining area, large bathroom and beds that are comfortable. All the facility in this hotel are new and nice! love the seating area at the roof top. there is laundry downstairs, money changer at the lobby. Transportation: very near to the bus stops, 5 mins walk to the bus station. The nearest train station is about 1km away which is not bad. "

"We stayed at 4 different hotels in Japan and this one was our favourite. We were grateful to check in earlier (1pm) rather than 3pm. The hotel has a reception that is manned early in the morning to late in the evening. It is about 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station and the area outside the hotel is quiet. Across the bridge to the right of the hotel is a train station (about 5 minutes walk) and there is a 7 Eleven a few properties down. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. "This was a very central location to be based. Literally a few metres from a main area with lots of food and restaurant choices, 5-10 mins walk to the Geisha area, and about a 10 minutes walk to Kymiozu temple and a shopping street offering further food and restaurant choices as well as souvenirs. There were local buses available all along the street from the hotel and everywhere was easily accessed. The hotel itself was clean and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend it as an ideal...
