"If you're not a person who likes big resorts and looks for something a little more low key, The Hideaway is it. Beautiful, well-kept grounds. The room was fresh and clean. The pool and pavilion are in the middle of the cottages, and the beach is literally right outside the gate. My first day there, I had the entire beach to myself (beach is very nice and clean). "The room was very nice and clean. I stayed one night. I had a ground floor room which had a sunken living room. There were 2 high steps up to the bed, bathroom and kitchen. The deck was nice with furniture. The kitchen had a 2 burner stove and small frig. Note that the reception desk has very limited hours and they do not answer the phone. Keys are left or you. I ate at the restaurant, which is open at night, and enjoyed the food and live steel drum musician who plays on Friday night. The coffee...

"Just about everything about the Buoy House was commendable-- spotless room, well maintained facility, friendly and helpful staff. Only wish there were more beach chairs, and the beach wasn't the best- fairly narrow. But would gladly return."

"If you're looking for a cheap place to stay for a few nights, this will work for you. One of the older hotels on the island, and definitely showing its age. Does not have a beach, or a working restaurant, or a bar for you to spend your time at. Will encourage you to build a little character!"
