We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service. "Most things okay, but as is too often the case, the secure cycle storage requested and confirmed in the booking stage didn't exist! Really not happy leaving an irreplaceable bespoke bicycle in the cleaner's room!"

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"A fantastic BnB, the owner has done a great job creating a really nice property here that also has a cool laid-back vibe as well as all the amenities you could wish for. Couldn’t have been more helpful as a host too - wish we’d stayed longer but as we were on a tour round the island we only had one night!"

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

The rooms have everything you'd need, comfy bed, great shower, lovely lighting, loads of plugs! The bar and food was great. "If you are travelling from Southampton Central Railway station, it is best to take a bus right at the train station and then walk 5 minutes to the hotel. About 10 minutes walk passing thru the park to many eating places."

"Our room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel has a different layout so depending on where your room is you may have to walk a long way to get to it or cut across the courtyard if it’s not raining. A bit in the middle of nowhere but ok if you have a car. Large parking lot but you have to pay."
