"This hotel is unique, sort of a hidden gem tucked away. You would not think there was a hotel there. Once in the property, everything is out of place but in place. Very nostalgic. Once in the room it felt like home. It had a homely feeling to it. The room felt like my own. Great spot"

"First of all it turns out that the hotel is on top of the check in lines for the airlines. You can see them from the hotel lobby. Luggage carts are right at the check in for the hotel. One elevator ride with your luggage to the carts, a second different elevator to check in and you are there.
I thought the hotel was priced too high. I had prepaid $630 for one night. Since I had a very early flight, I just did it anyway. I don't know if the rates would be better if the big soccer matches were...

"We had a very pleasant stay at La Quinta. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for getting around Vancouver and the airport. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
One small suggestion for improvement is regarding breakfast hours. When we checked in, we were told breakfast was served until 10:00 AM, but we weren't informed that on weekdays it actually ends at 9:00 AM. As a result, we missed breakfast on Monday. It would be helpful if the...

"Toilet broken. I had to wait for the next day the problem to be resolved but still not well fixed. There was urine smell around the toilet. One the light bulb in the kitchen was flickering. Water stayed on shower floor drain. The risk of feet to be infected. Old towels in the bathroom.
I like the size of room and the Airport shuttle."

"The facility was dirty, not well kept, and old! Staffs weren’t helpful at all! I’ve already paid everything up front and still ended up being charged extra after I had checked out of my room! Never again would I even consider staying here! When I checked out the staff up front did not even asked for my room number or even offered to print out my final check out receipt! He was too busy on his paying attention to his own business then to help the customers!"
