The hotel has large rooms for NYC. They are clean and everything works well. It is an easy walk to many of New York's best attractions, including Bryant Park, Time Square and the Empire State building. The lobby market and bar are both good, with friendly staff.

PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager hotel
Staff are nice but I didn’t get my hotels.com F&B credit and the water dispenser on my floor was broken meaning I had to go up and down each time I needed to get water.

Hampton Inn New York Times Square
Air conditioning in room was horrible, thermostat never went lower than 70 degrees. Bed and pillows not comfortable. Was very disappointed because I’ve been to several Hampton Inns and always had excellent air conditioning and bed / pillows.

My stay was okay for the price. I would have rated 5 but the air conditioning wasn’t the best. The entire property runs pretty warm. I had the AC running for hours at the minimum temp and highest fan speed, but it didn’t do much. Hovered around 76 degrees during the day. Luckily I was able to open ...
