"Requested in room coffee so didnā€™t have to go downstairs to other end of the hotel first thing to get a cup of coffee and the staff was very accommodating. They brought up a small coffee machine and two packets each of regular and decaf coffee. However, I didnā€™t notice that there wasnā€™t a hairdryer in the room until after I showered, so I had to go to the front desk since there are no in room phones and my text was not responded to. The hairdryers are kept in a small cabinet across from the front desk in a bottom section. Itā€™s an older hotel but everything seems to be well maintained. There was an adequate selection of breakfast items, though I wouldā€™ve liked other fresh fruit in addition to the apples that they always have readily available. Overall, it was a good stay and I would go back to the same hotel if I were visiting Russell or Chariton Iowa again."
